Dr. James Sork
Board Member since 1998
Jim Sork is currently the Director of the Vancouver School District Foundation, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to provide basic needs and educational experiences for students attending Vancouver schools. Prior to his Foundation position, he spent 42 years as a teacher and administrator, all in the Vancouver School District. Jim was raised in Vancouver, attending Vancouver schools and graduating from Clark College. He has a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Washington, Master’s Degree from Portland State University and Doctorate Degree from the University of Oregon.
