Whether it’s volunteering, donating money, or running an event, staffers dig in and get involved. iQ is committed to making the Pacific Northwest a better place to live, work and bank. Through outstanding efforts and financial contributions, the support for programs and organizations that enrich the lives of children in the PNW continues to grow.
There’s no better feeling than supporting local communities that embody the organization’s mission and purpose. It’s like finding the perfect pair of hiking boots. Hiding Easter eggs, gathering school supplies, helping with teacher orientations, hosting member appreciation barbecues, and so much more are part of our yearly events calendar. Members, as well as family and friends of members, are always welcome to join the party!

Elementary school educators receive funds to provide books for their students - books the students can keep forever. It’s a wonderful way to encourage reading and instill a lifelong love of books. To date, more than 75,000 books have been handed out to young readers across our region.
Educators are always looking for new and different ways to engage their students – especially in reading. iQ Credit Union is proud to provide literacy grants to middle and high school educators – grants that can be used to fund school supplies, field trips, or any other reading-related program. We support educator requests that present unique and innovative ideas designed to spark student engagement with reading.
Educators in Southwest Washington and the following counties in Oregon: Clackamas, Columbia, Hood River, Multnomah, Washington and Yamhill are eligible.
Applications are closed for the 2024-2025 school year and will re-open in August 1, 2025Read-With-Me
